The bicycle industry has very few and outdated short mechanic accredited qualifications. The BEA has written the World’s first engineering programmes to address the need for the bicycle professional to gain recognition at the highest level in education. Our courses are delivered through the internationally recognised City & Guilds accreditation series of qualifications in a unique format.

Students get to design, study and manufacture bicycles from scratch within our programmes developing skills that are transferable from the bicycle industry into other engineering fields should the opportunity arise with third level education only one step away.
